Riverside Museum
Zaha Hadid Architects · Glasgow, United Kingdom · 2011
The museum's folded roof creates a continuous profile between the city-facing entrance and the River Clyde. Inside, a column-free exhibition space accommodates Glasgow's transport collections and reconstructed streets. The zigzag silhouette and glazed ends make the building read as a flowing section through the waterfront site.
