BEEAH Headquarters
Zaha Hadid Architects · Sharjah, United Arab Emirates · 2022
BEEAH Headquarters is shaped as two sweeping volumes resembling intersecting desert dunes. Zaha Hadid Architects use the curving forms to organize offices around a central courtyard while minimizing direct solar exposure and creating shaded transitions between interior and exterior. The building combines photovoltaic power, environmental controls and highly automated workplace systems with a landscape-responsive formal concept. Officially opened in March 2022, the headquarters is one of Hadid’s last projects and a prominent example of Gulf corporate architecture combining iconic geometry with explicit net-zero and smart-building ambitions.
