Midland Grand Hotel (St Pancras)

George Gilbert Scott · London, United Kingdom · 1876

Scott's richly modelled Gothic Revival hotel forms the ceremonial front of St Pancras station. Pointed arches, towers and patterned brickwork turn a railway terminus into an urban monument. The former Midland Grand Hotel was restored and reopened as a hotel in 2011 after decades of other uses.
