Trellick Tower

Ernő Goldfinger · London, United Kingdom · 1972

Goldfinger separates the service tower from the residential slab and connects them with bridges, giving Trellick its distinctive silhouette. The apartments and circulation were designed to improve high-rise public housing. Its exposed concrete and carefully proportioned components make it a major example of London's Brutalist residential architecture.
