Battersea Power Station

J. Theo Halliday; Giles Gilbert Scott · London, United Kingdom · 1955

The four-chimney power station is one of London's most recognisable industrial buildings. Its conversion retains the brick enclosure and monumental turbine halls while introducing shops, offices, homes and public circulation. The building reopened in 2022, showing how a large industrial landmark can become part of a new urban district.
