Zentrum Paul Klee
Renzo Piano Building Workshop · Bern, Switzerland · 2005
Renzo Piano shaped the museum as a series of low undulating roofs emerging from the landscape. The repeated structural rhythm connects exhibition and public spaces, while the building’s profile makes the relationship between cultural institution and open ground visible from a distance. Visiting: The museum is ticketed; the three steel waves and the surrounding fields can be seen freely.
