Vidhan Bhavan brings the functions of a state legislature into a low, monumental composition on a hill in Bhopal. Charles Correa organized the plan through a geometric system of halls, courtyards and gardens. Distinct access routes for public visitors, legislators and officials are integrated with shaded circulation and a strong relationship to the city's landscape. Visiting: The state assembly; Charles Correa's circular building is seen from the Arera Hills. Interior visits need permission from the assembly secretariat.
