Torre Reforma

LBR&A Arquitectos / Benjamín Romano · Mexico City, Mexico · 2016

Torre Reforma uses two massive exposed-concrete walls as both structural system and architectural identity. The third face opens toward the city in glass, while the triangular footprint and a series of internal sky gardens organize the high-rise workplace. The structure was designed to address Mexico City’s demanding seismic conditions through an unusually legible system rather than concealing its engineering behind a curtain wall. Completed in 2016, the tower is a major contemporary addition to Paseo de la Reforma and a strong example of structure shaping form.
