Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Rockwell Group designed an arts center whose telescoping outer shell moves over an adjacent plaza. The mobile enclosure allows different scales of performance and exhibition. Its position beside the High Line and 15 Hudson Yards connects cultural infrastructure with the wider development. Visiting: Performances and exhibitions are ticketed; the movable shell and the plaza beside the High Line can be seen freely. View the exterior from public paths. Exhibition and performance access, ticket prices and opening periods depend on the current program.
