The Riverfront places theatres, gallery space and community arts facilities beside the River Usk. Its contrasting volumes and glazed public areas connect the programme to Newport's waterfront. Conceived as a catalyst for regeneration, it offers an example of cultural architecture working at the scale of a regional city.
