Teletón Children’s Rehabilitation Center

Gabinete de Arquitectura transformed and extended Paraguay’s Teletón rehabilitation center through an explicitly resource-conscious strategy. Existing partitions were removed, donated glass doors were reused, and demolition debris was reassembled into experimental ceramic vaults and structural components. The intervention treats scarcity as a design generator rather than a limitation, producing expressive spaces for rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. It is an important example of contemporary Paraguayan architecture centered on material invention, social purpose and adaptive reuse.
