Suzanne Dellal Centre

אלישע ורונית רובין · Tel Aviv, Israel · 1989

The Suzanne Dellal Centre is a cultural complex in Tel Aviv's Neve Tzedek neighborhood, dedicated to dance and theater. Completed in 1989, it integrates and adapts four historic 19th-century school buildings and a new purpose-built structure, designed to house studios, performance spaces, and administrative offices. The architectural design by the Mayslits & Kassif Architects office aimed to preserve the character of the existing structures while creating modern facilities suitable for dance. The complex is characterized by its preserved historic facades, courtyards, and pathways that connect the various buildings. Its design emphasizes open spaces and a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting its role as a central hub for performing arts. The center has significantly contributed to the cultural revitalization of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood.
