Stella Maris Monastery

The monastery serves as the headquarters of the Carmelite Order and is notable for its impressive dome, which is visible from much of Haifa. The interior features frescoes depicting biblical scenes and the history of the order. Beneath the main altar, a grotto is traditionally believed to be the cave where the Prophet Elijah dwelt. The site holds significant religious and historical importance for Christians.
