Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

Adjaye Associates + AB Studios · Moscow, Russia · 2010

David Adjaye’s campus for the Moscow School of Management is organized around an enormous circular disc raised above the landscape. Teaching, residential and support programs are arranged within or above this platform as colorful geometric volumes, creating a compact internal world suited to Moscow’s severe climate. The project rejects the conventional dispersed campus in favor of a single elevated social condenser. Completed in 2010 with AB Studios, it is one of Adjaye’s most ambitious early institutional projects and a distinctive example of educational architecture using megastructure logic to organize community and circulation.
