Sarajevo’s city hall combines an elaborate historicist exterior with a ceremonial central hall. Its architecture draws on a deliberately eclectic range of forms. Restoration after wartime destruction re-established the building as a civic and cultural landmark beside the river. Visiting: Entry is ticketed; the restored Neo-Moorish facade on the riverbank can be seen freely.
