A translucent cloud-like auditorium is suspended inside a huge orthogonal glass box, creating a deliberate contrast between regular envelope and amorphous interior object. The enormous scale and sectional drama make the convention center a useful contemporary counterpoint to the rationalist architecture of EUR surrounding it.
