Foster + Partners’ headquarters for the Russian Copper Company is a fifteen-story office building organized around modular workplace units behind a highly distinctive triangulated façade. Copper-colored stainless-steel elements form deep faceted bays that provide shading while referencing the company’s core material. The envelope gives each office a recognizable external module and turns environmental control into the project’s visual identity. Completed in 2020 with VostokProekt, the building was Foster + Partners’ first completed office project in Russia and became an immediate landmark on Yekaterinburg’s riverfront.
