Quay Quarter Tower

Quay Quarter Tower transforms the structure of Sydney’s former AMP Centre rather than demolishing and replacing it. 3XN and BVN retained much of the existing concrete frame and expanded it into five stacked, rotated volumes that create terraces and varied workplace neighbourhoods. The faceted massing improves views and daylight while giving the tower a strongly recognizable profile near Circular Quay. Completed in 2022, the project is significant both as high-rise architecture and as a major example of structural reuse reducing the material impact of commercial redevelopment.
