Pyramid of Tirana

Originally built as a museum, the pyramid has been adapted by MVRDV into an accessible cultural and educational building. Added stairs, new interior spaces and retained sloping surfaces transform a politically charged monument into a different kind of urban gathering place. Visiting: The transformed building includes public circulation and education facilities. Classes, working rooms and events have their own access rules.
