Ping An Finance Centre gives Shenzhen a slender, emphatically vertical office tower. Kohn Pedersen Fox's design uses a strong external structural expression and a narrowing upper profile to define the skyline presence. The building combines a private working programme with an observation experience that reveals the surrounding city's extraordinary scale. Visiting: The observation deck is ticketed; the lobby and lower retail levels are free.
