Parliament Buildings, Barbados

John Scot · Bridgetown, Barbados · 1874

The parliament complex uses Gothic Revival towers, arcades and carefully articulated stone elevations. Its two buildings frame a central civic setting in Bridgetown, connecting the working legislature with the architecture of the island’s nineteenth-century public institutions. Visiting: On National Heroes Square in central Bridgetown. The Museum of Parliament inside the west wing is the way in when Parliament isn't sitting.
