One High Line

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) · New York, United States · 2024

BIG’s pair of twisting towers rises between the High Line and the Hudson River. Their changing profiles adjust views between the buildings and soften the transition from Chelsea’s lower blocks to the waterfront skyline. Travertine cladding gives the large mixed-use development a distinctive pale texture. Visiting: Exterior viewing from public streets and the High Line is free. This is a privately used building; interior access requires permission, a hotel reservation or a relevant business visit.
