Oasia Hotel Downtown uses a red external framework and extensive climbing vegetation to give a tower a distinct tropical character. WOHA breaks the vertical composition with large open sky spaces. The building makes a useful comparison with nearby sealed high-rises, emphasizing shade, air movement and planted communal areas within a compact city site. Visiting: The red-mesh, plant-covered tower is best seen from Tanjong Pagar Road. The sky garden lobby is part of the hotel.
