National Gallery Singapore

studioMilou; CPG Consultants · Singapore, Singapore · 2015

National Gallery Singapore joins the former City Hall and Supreme Court through a contemporary museum intervention. New circulation, roof structures and internal connections make the two historic civic buildings work together. The project is particularly valuable for observing how adaptive reuse can retain distinct existing spaces while creating a larger public institution. Visiting: Standard gallery admission is charged for most overseas visitors. Singapore citizens and permanent residents have different concessions; several public areas are free.
