Nagi Museum of Contemporary Art

Arata Isozaki · Nagi, Japan · 1994

Isozaki designed the museum around permanent works developed together with artists, so architecture and installation are inseparable. Distinct geometric volumes contain site-specific rooms by Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins, Aiko Miyawaki and Kazuo Okazaki, making the building itself part of the collection.
