The Museum of the Future is a toroidal stainless-steel building lifted above a landscaped podium beside Sheikh Zayed Road. Killa Design wraps the entire curved surface in large Arabic calligraphy panels that function simultaneously as windows and structural openings, making text, envelope and engineering inseparable. The column-light interior supports immersive exhibition floors around the central void. Opened in 2022, the museum is one of Dubai’s most recognizable recent landmarks and an ambitious example of digital fabrication and complex geometry being used to construct a highly symbolic civic building.
