SOM transformed part of the historic James A. Farley Post Office into a contemporary train hall beneath large skylights. The new interior works with the original steel structure and monumental exterior by McKim, Mead & White. The hall can be reached from the High Line through the Moynihan Connector and Manhattan West. Visiting: Public circulation through the train hall is available during operating hours. Train travel, ticketed lounges and other controlled areas have separate conditions.
