Minar-e-Pakistan combines a tall national memorial tower with an expansive stepped base in Lahore. Nasreddin Murat-Khan's design gives the commemorative programme an architectural form that is visible across the surrounding park. The relationship between the tower, its lower platforms and the public landscape makes the approach a central part of the experience. Visiting: In Greater Iqbal Park, which charges a small entry fee; the tower is next to Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort.
