Marina Bay Sands
Moshe Safdie · Singapore, Singapore · 2010
Marina Bay Sands is a mixed-use integrated resort in Singapore, completed in 2010. Designed by Moshe Safdie, the complex is renowned for its distinctive architectural form featuring three hotel towers topped by a 1,120-foot-long (340-meter) skyway, known as the Sands SkyPark. This elevated park cantilevers 65 meters beyond the north tower, offering panoramic views of the city. The design integrates a hotel, convention center, mall, museum, and casinos, and has become a prominent symbol of Singapore's modern urban landscape. Its expansive roof structure and complex engineering represent a significant achievement in contemporary large-scale architectural development.
