Lloyd's Building

Richard Rogers & Partners · London, United Kingdom · 1986

Richard Rogers places lifts, stairs and service equipment outside the main enclosure, making infrastructure the building's most recognisable feature. This arrangement frees the interior for a large underwriting room and a tall central atrium. Stainless steel service towers give the insurance headquarters a strongly industrial presence.
