Lentos Art Museum

Weber & Hofer · Linz, Austria · 2003

Weber & Hofer placed a long, glass-clad museum beside the Danube. A large opening through the building frames the river and preserves a public connection along the waterfront. The luminous facade gives the restrained rectangular volume a changing presence after dark. Visiting: Exhibitions are ticketed; the large opening beneath the building framing the Danube is public and free.
