Patterson Associates gave the new art building a highly reflective, folded stainless-steel facade. The shifting surfaces respond to the light and movement around the street, linking the architecture with Len Lye’s interest in motion while extending the earlier Govett-Brewster gallery. Visiting: Entry is free for New Zealand residents and ticketed for international visitors; the mirrored facade can be seen freely.
