Le Corbusier Pavilion

Le Corbusier · Zurich, Switzerland · 1967

Le Corbusier combined a freestanding steel roof, colored panels and a compact exhibition building beside Lake Zurich. The pavilion brings together ideas about prefabrication, proportion and the synthesis of art, while its outdoor elements connect the small museum with the surrounding park. Visiting: Entry is ticketed and the pavilion opens seasonally; the exterior can be seen freely in the lakeside Zürichhorn park.
