KOMTAR groups a high-rise tower with a substantial mixed-use base in George Town. Its modern scale marked a major shift in the city's development, contrasting with the surrounding historic fabric. The project brings administrative, commercial and visitor functions into a single urban complex whose tower remains a prominent orientation point. Visiting: The Top observation deck and rainbow skywalk are ticketed; the lower shopping floors are free.
