Neil M. Denari Architects; Marc I. Rosenbaum Architects · New York, United States · 2011
Neil Denari’s compact residential tower expands above a narrow base beside the High Line. Its asymmetric glass and stainless-steel envelope negotiates the elevated park and the constrained site. The cantilevered upper volume makes the development envelope itself part of the building’s architectural expression. Visiting: Exterior viewing from public streets and the High Line is free. This is a privately used residential building; apartments and amenities are not open for general visits.
