Hanoi Museum

gmp Architekten · Hanoi, Vietnam · 2010

Hanoi Museum uses a dramatically expanding upper form to shelter the ground around its entrance. The inverted-pyramid composition gives the museum a strong contemporary identity. Internal circulation connects the exhibition levels, making the relationship between the outward silhouette and the visitor's movement through the building central to the design. Visiting: The inverted-pyramid museum is in Hanoi's western My Dinh district; check opening days and admission before visiting.
