Habib Bank Plaza
Leo A. Daly · Karachi, Pakistan · 1963
Habib Bank Plaza introduced a modern high-rise office form to central Karachi. Its repeated façade grid and restrained tower composition express the commercial ambitions of the period. The building remains an important point of comparison for understanding how the city's banking district developed beyond its earlier low-rise institutional architecture. Visiting: A working office tower on I. I. Chundrigar Road; seen from the street.
