Google Bay View Campus
Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) + Heatherwick Studio · Mountain View, United States · 2022
Google Bay View Campus, designed by BIG and Heatherwick Studio, is a large workplace campus in Mountain View defined by tent-like roof structures, flexible interiors, and an ambitious environmental agenda. The buildings are organized to support daylight, collaboration, and campus movement while integrating photovoltaic roof surfaces and landscape systems. Unlike a conventional office block, Bay View is conceived as a low, expansive work environment shaped by the relationship between structure, energy performance, and social space. It is an important contemporary corporate-campus project because it attempts to combine workplace flexibility with visible sustainable infrastructure. For ArchiAtlas, it offers a clear example of how technology companies use architecture to express values of innovation and environmental responsibility.
