John Scott combined a compact roof form, expressed timber structure and carefully controlled light in a small chapel. The design draws together different cultural and construction references, creating a distinctive interior whose architectural strength comes from proportion and detail rather than large scale. Visiting: Opening is limited to open days and booked visits; the exterior can be seen from the street.
