Faraglioni Viewpoint Tragara
Unknown · Capri, Italy
Belvedere di Tragara is a public viewpoint and urban-landscape threshold at the end of one of Capri’s most important walking routes. While not a building in the conventional sense, it is an architectural location because it uses paving, walls, edges, and orientation to frame the Faraglioni and the coastal cliffs. The viewpoint also organizes access to nearby villas, hotels, and paths, making it a small but powerful node in Capri’s spatial network. Its design value lies in how little built intervention is needed to create a memorable public room in the landscape. For ArchiAtlas, it helps connect the island’s villas and cliffside architecture into one walking sequence.
