F&F Tower
Pinzón Lozano & Asociados · Panama City, Panama · 2011
F&F Tower gives a conventional office high-rise a conspicuously twisting external form. Completed in 2011 by Pinzón Lozano & Asociados, the building rotates its floor plates to create a continuous spiral silhouette within Panama City's skyline. Glass and reinforced concrete support an image that changes as it is viewed from different streets. The project is useful for examining how a repeated commercial floor programme can be expressed through changing orientation, while the lower levels connect the tower to the practical demands of an operating office building. Visiting: An operating private office tower. View from public streets. Interior entry is controlled.
