Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay

Esplanade's paired performance buildings are identified by their dense external sunshades. The faceted envelopes give the complex its memorable waterfront presence while responding to the tropical sun. Public circulation and outdoor spaces connect the concert and theatre programmes with the bay, making the cultural centre part of a wider pedestrian landscape. Visiting: Waterfront and public circulation are free. Auditoria, performances and organized tours may require tickets or bookings.
