Durban City Hall
Stanley G. Hudson · Durban, South Africa · 1910
Durban’s city hall uses a large central dome, columned porticoes and an elaborate civic frontage. The building brings several public functions into a monumental composition, making the architecture part of a wider ensemble of institutions and open spaces in the city center. Visiting: Free to enter; the building also houses the city's art gallery and natural science museum.
