D. T. Suzuki Museum

Yoshio Taniguchi · Kanazawa, Japan · 2011

Yoshio Taniguchi creates a sequence of restrained concrete walls, courtyards and reflecting water around the life and thought of Buddhist philosopher D. T. Suzuki. The architecture is intentionally sparse: the central Water Mirror Garden and Contemplative Space make stillness, proportion and reflection the primary exhibit.
