Coconut Palace
Francisco Mañosa · Pasay, Philippines
Francisco Mañosa's Coconut Palace uses local materials and craft to reinterpret a ceremonial guesthouse. Roofs, structural elements and decorative surfaces draw attention to the possibilities of coconut and other regional resources. The building brings a distinctly Filipino architectural language into the larger formal landscape of the Cultural Center complex. Visiting: GSIS documented a reopening ceremony in August 2026. Routine public-tour availability, booking and charges still require direct confirmation.
