Church of the Holy Sacrifice

Leandro Locsin · Quezon City, Philippines · 1955

The Church of the Holy Sacrifice organizes worship beneath a broad circular roof. Leandro Locsin's design gives structure and collective gathering a direct spatial relationship, avoiding the conventional long nave. The open character of the enclosure connects the sanctuary with its setting on the University of the Philippines campus. Visiting: A religious site. Basic access is normally free, with local worship, dress and photography restrictions; additional visitor attractions can be charged.
