Chowmahalla Palace brings ceremonial halls, courtyards and landscaped spaces together within the former seat of the Nizams. Its architecture developed over successive campaigns rather than through one uniform design. The sequence of enclosed gardens and richly appointed reception rooms reveals the relationship between public ceremony and the more private life of the court.
