Centro Rogers – New Civic Center Scandicci

The project uses housing, retail, civic functions and a tram interchange to form a new urban center around an open public square. Exposed structure, external circulation and lightweight facade elements make the complex a useful contemporary counterpoint to Florence's historic center, reachable directly by tram.
