Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels

Victor Horta · Brussels, Belgium · 1928

Victor Horta fitted a large arts complex into a constrained sloping site near Brussels’ royal quarter. Concert, exhibition and circulation spaces are arranged beneath a carefully controlled urban profile, making the interior organization more expansive than the restrained street frontage suggests. Visiting: Exhibitions and concerts are ticketed; Horta's low facade on Rue Ravenstein can be seen freely.
