Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul

L. Bonnet-Labranche · Tunis, Tunisia · 1897

The cathedral combines twin towers, an arcaded entrance and a richly articulated stone exterior. Its eclectic revival language gives the building a prominent presence on Tunis’s central avenue, offering a different architectural layer from the nearby medina and later modern development. Visiting: On Avenue Habib Bourguiba; visitors can usually enter outside services.
